Back Yard Mini Bike Races 2021

Every year my friends Karl and Kristina host a mini bike party on their families Farm. 

 

It’s also Karl’s birthday. 

So why not celebrate it with minibikes and friends? 

It’s entertaining.  

Everyone looks forward to it. 

Friends getting together, having a blast and getting dirty.

 

I asked my friend Kyle why does he get so excited about the mini bikes? 

 

“What I like about the mini bike party is that I get to pretend -if even for just a couple of hours - that I’m back to being 10 years old. I’m not bombarded by all of life’s woe’s and hardships. I’m free of stress and responsibility and I can enjoy life in the moment. I can appreciate the simple pleasures of having the wind in my hair, laughter with friends and I can relish in the idea I don’t take myself too seriously. Because if you can’t let go of life’s hardships, then you are taking life too seriously.“

 

Going around the track in a minibike can be intimidating at first, but when you get the hang of it, it’s so much fun. 

I enjoyed watching everyone just giver and enjoying themselves. 

 

Lots of laughs, slides, falls and crashes.

 

By the end the of the evening, the track is a dust pit. The grime of having a time. 

 

I can’t wait for next years mini bike party.
